Create API Key

To connect SmartRecruiters with Findem, you need an API key.

NOTE: To generate an API key, you will need Admin access in your ATS Account.

Step 1: Login to your SmartRecruiters Account and go to Settings > Administration > Apps & Integrations > Credentials (Tab).

Step 2: Click on 'New Credential'.

Step 3: Select type of Credentials as 'API Type'. Provide a name and description.

It's important to note down the credentials as it will be shown only once.

Copy the API key and paste it in a document securely. If you lose the key, you have to disable the integration and repeat the steps again to generate a new API Key. Click Done and save your changes.

Add Findem as a Source

Next, you need to add Findem as a source in SmartRecruiters.

You will need to have admin access to perform these steps.

Step 1: Login to SmartRecruiters and navigate to Settings.

Step 2: Click on 'Custom Candidate Sources' in the configuration list > click 'Create source'.

Step 3: Add the details and save.

Source Name = 'Findem'

Source Type = 'Other'

Source Sub-type = 'Other'

You are now ready to set up the integration in Findem.
